The Border Security Force (BSF), under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, has officially released a notification inviting online applications from meritorious sportspersons (both male and female) for the post of Constable (General Duty) under the Sports Quota 2025. Valid Sports Disciplines: Only those candidates who have represented India or their respective States, Union Territories, Universities, or Sports Control Boards in recognized sports events like Athletics, Football, Boxing, Swimming, Wrestling, Shooting, Gymnastics, Kabaddi, Judo, Taekwondo, Volleyball, etc., are eligible to apply. Period of Sports Achievements: The sports achievements must have been obtained within two years prior to the closing date of the advertisement. Selection Based on Sports Performance: Candidates are shortlisted primarily on the basis of their sports achievements during the past two years. Marks are allotted according to the level of participation and medals won in national or international sports competitions recognized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports or the Indian Olympic Association.
